Biography

I’m a mom of two, a social worker, an active union member, a proud lacrosse mom, and an engaged member of our school community. I grew up on the territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, and I’m grateful to now live on the territory of the Snuneymuxw First Nation. These communities have shaped my understanding of connection, community, and the importance of listening. I spent years working alongside neurodivergent students and their families. That experience taught me the importance of inclusive education, individualized support, advocacy, and listening to students and families about what they actually need to succeed. I’ll bring that experience to the Board table. I believe in labour rights and collective action. I believe unions play an important role in building fairer workplaces and stronger public services. Supporting workers means supporting the people who show up every day for our children. This includes ensuring that educators and support staff have the resources to do their jobs safely.
