Meg Fyfe Watkins

Candidate statement

“I’m running for Nanaimo City Council because I want to help create a better Nanaimo, for everyone.”

Biography

I’m Meg, and I would like to be your next City Councillor. I founded and run a small business downtown, and I’m a mom of two children who both attend public school in Nanaimo. I grew up on Vancouver Island, and I’ve lived in Nanaimo with my family for the past 12 years. After moving here I quickly came to love Nanaimo’s strong sense of community, incredible local businesses, and the easily accessible green spaces and natural beauty that make our city special.
